genre of our music video is Performance based indie pop.

text concerned with?
3. How typical of the genre is the text in
terms of content? The text itself is relatively typical of the genre in
terms of its content as it is upbeat and follows the conventions of an upbeat
indie pop video with sharp cuts.
4. What expectations do you have about texts
in this genre? I expect sharp cuts, colourful lights, attractive artists, moving camera shots

for this particular text? Performance

either at a gig or jamming together.

audience was your text aimed at?
Scenesters: Replacing the recently
demoted Hipsters – the scenesters encapsulate everything that Hipsterdom has
failed to in recent years.
DIY'ers: DIYers are creative, tech
savvy self-starters that bring culture to life for Tribes today – they produce
music, promote club nights, start indie brands and create festival stages.
2. How does the text address your audience? The text
addresses the audience through its
use of mise-en-scene and closeup camera shots of the artists.

What sort of person does it assume they
are? I think that they would assume that they would be semi-popular
although they would be in the indie scene

Personally
it bears semi relevance as I am actually part of the target audience. I find
the video to be aesthetically pleasing.
